Louise Worth (BA Hons, MA Wales, DipM, PGCE, MCIM, Chartered Marketer)

Louise Worth is Managing Director of LWBD. With over 15 years commercial experience she is a Chartered Marketer and has been employed in a variety of roles in small, medium and large organisations including Lynton Lasers, Palmer Environmental (Halma Group), Catnic (Corus Group), and Corus Strip Products (formerly Corus Group now
Tata Steel).

Louise started her career with an International Business Studies degree with French at Sheffield Hallam University (1990-1994). This entailed a 6 month secondment to Bordeaux University and a one year work placement with an International Courier Company based in Paris.

Following a Masters Degree in Marketing and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education she was also employed as Senior Marketing Lecturer at Newport Business School teaching on the undergraduate programme and more recently as a Visiting Tutor on the MBA programme.

As well as owning and managing her own business, Louise is actively engaged in small business research. She is currently undertaking a
PHD in Entrepreneurial Marketing, and is part of the University of Wales Newport’s Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship, Advertising and Marketing (CREAM). Also a member of ISBE (Institute of Small Business and Entrepreneurship) she has contributed to a number of small
business and marketing related articles and features.

A Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Academy of Marketing, Louise is a regular contributor to the CIM at branch level (South Wales). She is also highly participative in the wider marketing and business community through a number of local networks and business clubs.
